2009M MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS PERFORMANCED AND MORE

Yesterday the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards were held in New York. The ceremony was as a memorial tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson. The show began with an emotional speech by Madonna. Soon the tribut eperformance began with dancers dancing on his songs as ''Thriller'' ''Smooth Criminal'' ''Scream'' Janet Jackson made her entrace during the last song and did a great job. She is defenetly back, made a great impression. You can watch the performances below, but first I have to say something about the Kanye West inident.

Kanye why? just why? We all know you have a big ego and kis Beyonce's ass for a while, but why did you have to humiliate that poor Taylor Swift live on tv? Taylor won best female video and that cunt jumped on stage, took the mic off her hand and shouted: ''BEYONCE HAS ONE OF THE BEST VIDEO'S OF ALL TIME'' I just lost every single respect for that guy if i even had any...

my last conclusion is: The VMA's are once again plain boring without Britney Spears. She at least won Best Pop Video two years in a row, but gave us an pre recorded acceptane speech,(which btw was a bit disappointing) but what you gotta do? The superstar is on tour, she couldn't make it.

Performances are coming
TONI BRAXTON NEW SINGLE ''YESTERDAY''

YES! The lead single from Toni Braxton's forthcoming album ''Pulse'' can finally be heard as from today. Below is the official single cover art for the song and I think she looks AMAZING.
Toni Braxton – So Yesterday[First Single]
I'm waiting so long for her music. I love the song, I know many people think this kinda sounds the same as Beyonce's ''Broken-hearted Girl'' but I don't see the recemblance and btw this song is WAY better. Toni sounds amazing, great job!
ALICIA KEYS NEW SINGLE INFO

There is some new info from Alicia Key's new single from her forthcoming album, the single can be hears later this month. The lead single from the project is called ‘Doesn’t Mean Anything’ and it goes for Urban radio adds on September 30th…
Hmmm... I dont know, I hope she delivers this time, cause I didn't like her last album...

KERI HILSON ''SLOW DANCE'' VIDEO

Keri Hilson premiered her new music video for her 5th single ‘Slow Dance’. Artists such as PCD’s Melody Thornton, Monica, Omarion and Chris Brown made their cameos.

HOT!
WHITNEY HOUSTON ''I LOOK TO YOU'' VIDEO

The new video's for Whitney Houston's new single ''I Look To You'' premiered yesterday. The video is very classy at the first look, but I think this is the cheapest video I've ever seen... Other then that, I think the video suits the song perfectly, but I wanna see some halo's...

TREY SONGZ:''I'M THE NUMBER 1 R&B SINGER RIGHT NOW''

R&B singer Trey Songz declared himself as the #1 R&B singer in the game at the moment. he also attacks his one time idol R-Kelly. Well I'm not gonna say more, just read for yourself below:

I feel like it takes a lot to be the number 1 R&B singer. I mean I’m the
number 1 R&B singer right now. I would say that as far as right now current
times hottest artist right now in the moment, but I think it takes a lot of
consistency it takes longevity and a lot more than what I’ve done in the past
year… I’m not the greatest (of all time) right now, I will say that, but I will
be.

At this point I feel like R Kelly knows if he was to step in that arena with
me he couldn’t PLAY with me as far as lyrically, word play or metaphorically in
that arena after the way I came on death of Kellz. Kellz is older he’s an old
man.

Trey’s third album “Ready” debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts this week with 135k sold. It actually is a shame, I'd like him to get the #1 but Whitney Houston released her album at the same week, so Trey didn't get any chance, not even a #2.

JANET JACKSONS FIRST INTERVIEW SINCE MACHAEL'S PASSINGJanet Jackson graces the cover of Harpers Bazaar and gives her first interview since the passing of her brother Michael Jackson. To read the entire interview click here. will post the pictures from the shoot, cause I think she looks abosolutley AMAZING!

Shee looks great, the interview is great as well. I really hope and I'm sure her next album is gonna be huge. Good luck Miss Janet and good luck sunday at the VMA's you are amazing!
MICHAEL JACKSON MOVIE POSTER+INFO

The official promotional poster for Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' movie surfaced yesterday, along with info about the docu-film. The ‘This Is It’ docu-film, will be in theaters for two weeks from Oktober 28th. The movie “offers Jackson fans a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the performer as he developed, created and rehearsed for his sold-out concerts that would have taken place this summer at London’s O2 Arena”. Check out the poster below:
WAUW, I need to get this poster, it looks great. As for the movie I think it's a must see for everyjackson fan, if not for everyone who like smusic, cause The King of Pop changed music since his very first step into the music buiz.

JANET JACKSON PERFORMING A MJ TRIBUTE ATE VMA'S

Wauw this news just came in. Janet Jackson will perform a tribute to his late brother Michael Jackson at this weeks VMA's. Since his death there were manu rumours claiming she'd do a tribute performance on serveral award shows, until Wade Robson confirmed the news on his my space saying the following:

''WADE ROBSON, MIA MICHAELS, BRIAN FRIEDMAN, CRIS JUDD, TRAVIS PAYNE, TINA LANDON, DAVE SCOTT, TYCE DIORIO, JERRY SLAUGHTER, LAURIE ANN GIBSON & GIL DULDULAO ARE PERFORMING WITH JANET JACKSON ON THE MTV VMA AWARDS ON SEPTEMBER 13TH IN TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON.''
YES, this is great news. The VMA's this year are gonna rock, I dont think there was a great line up like this year. It's a shame Britney is not performing though, but this would make everything alright for me, i'm so looking forward to this. I think for once the VMA's will not be about Britney Spears, but about Janet&Michael Jackson and I'd love that to happen!
NEW SONG FROM ONE REPUBLIC

After making some smash hits for other artists, Ryan Tedder is back with his group One Republic. This time he is working on the new One Republic album and the first song from this project already leaked today. The new single '' All The Right Moves'' is the lead single from their sophomore album ''Waking Up'' which hits stores November 17th.

This is a great song and a great single as the lead. I loved their preveous album, so I am looking forward to this album. He actually is a great producer.
NEW ALBUM INFO: JENNIFER LOPEZ

Alex Da Kid tweeted his compliments on JLO good vocals, while he confirms working with her on her new album. The popular songwriter Johnta Austin is also working with JLO.

Alex Da Kids previous work includes rapper Kardinal Offishall, and he also produced Michelle Williams single “Hello Heartbreak”. Johnta Austin also has worked with Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Monica, Whitney Houston, and Lopez’s arch rival Mariah Carey, penning four hit singles from the diva’s comeback album “The Emancipation Of Mimi”.

The other confirmed producers for JLO's new album includes Jim Jonson, Danja, Wynter Gordon, Darkchild, Chris & Teeb, D’Mile, and Ryan Leslie. It currently has a tentative release date of January 2010, but nothing has been officially confirmed.

Finally It's about time she comes back, I loved her older albums, I just hope she brings back some of the older sound, she was huge back then. It's a shame she flopped so hard over the past few years, but I don't think she'd fail this time with the producers she is working with now, I think a world tour would do wondersfor her. It's good to see she is taking time with this one.
BRITNEY SPEARS SINGS YOU OUGHTA KNOW LIVE ON TOUR

Britney Spears covered the song ''You Oughta Know'' by Alanis Morissette on het Circus tour with live vocals. She looked great and the vocals are great. I think she proofed the haters wrong who keep saying:''SHE CAN'T SING LIVE'' well here is proof losers, she has it all, great live vocals, great dancing, great music and off course: THE HOTTEST LOOKS. Check out the vide below:

It's Britney Bitch!
NEW WHITNEY ON OPRAH TEASER

There is a new teaser available of Whitney's appearance the Oprah Winfrey show. The video speaks for it self. I just can't wait to see this, I think it's going to be an emotional conversation for Whitney. In other Whitney news, her new album ''I Look To You'' (which was amazing) is set for a #1 debut on the Billboard Album chart this week with first week numbers in excess of 300,000.

New Promo Trailer for Whitney's Oprah Interview

The Sugababes premiered their second single titled ''About a Girl''. The dance song is produced by RedOne and is coming from their 7th studio album ''Sweet 7''. The album hits stores November 23rd. Check out the song below:

CHERYL COLE DEBUTS FIRST SOLO SINGLE

Girls Aloud star and Xfactor Judge Cheryl Cole premiered her debut single “Fight For This Love” earlier this morning on the Chris Moyles show. The track is the lead from her upcoming solo album Three Words which will be released October 26th. Listen to the song below.

The video for the single is being shot this weekend and it will include lots of dancing. She will have the same choreograper than Girls Aloud, but it will be very diffirent from their routines. She'll return with Girls Aloud next year, when they'll release their next album. According to Play, this is the official tracklist of the album:

3 Words
Heaven
Parachute
Fight For This Love
Don't Talk About This Love
Trying To Make Me Cry (Hurt Me)
Girl Like You
Happy Hour
Rain On Me
Heart Breaker
Stand Up

I really hope she will do good. The song is catchy, it's not something great, but I do like the song, I think i's weak for a lead single, maybe she should've chosen one of her Bloodshy&Avant produced tracks? cause that CAN NOT be wrong!

CHRIS BROWN CONFIRMS NEW ALBUM+SINGLE

Controversial pop/R&B singer Chris Brown has confirmed via his Twitter that his upcoming third studio album “Graffiti” is now finished.

GRAFFITI!!!! COMIN SOON…. JUST FINISHED IT…HANDS DOWN … MY BEST ALBUM… THATS ALL IMA GIVE AWAY RIGHT NOW..

According to reports last month on the ybf website, the album’s lead single may be “Transformers” featuring rapper Lil’ Wayne. Breezy also spoke about the song earlier today during a live chat with fans via Tinychat on Twitter and said that we would hear it in the next couple of weeks.

This isn’t the first time that Chris Brown & Lil’ Wayne have worked together, with the pair collaborating on both of Brown’s previous albums, including their hit single “Gimme That”.

So far confirmed to be contributing to the new album are Keri Hilson, Scott Storch, Robert Allen, and The Runners who called the song they did with Brown an “amazing, insane record. Something you’ve never heard before”. source:thatprophet
Seriously? WHAT THE HELL is he thinking? first of all he shoudl wait at leat a year before making his comeback, maybe ever longer till the Rihanna thing is ''forgotten'' and second of all, another collaboration with Lil'Wayne? WHY?
NEW LEONA LEWIS SONG:HAPPY

A day before the official release of Leona Lewis' official single ''Happy'' from her upcoming album ''Echo'' leaks in full. The song is produced by Ryan Tedder and written by him as well as Leona Lewis herself. Listen to the powerballad below:

hmm... I was expecting something more slow... but I do love the song, the lyrics are great and her vocals are great, I think she is the best singer of this generaion, unfortunatley not the best entertainer, that would still be Miss. Britney Spears.

I think the song is good, not great, maybe it will grow on me when I hear the studio version. The live vocals are good as well.
LEONA LWEIS' INFO ON NEW SINGLE ''HAPPY''

The photo promo is the very first promo of Leona's upcoming album ''Echo''. This very photo also serves as the cover for Leona’s new single ‘Happy’ which will see its worldwide premiere tomorrow night on Radio 1. The track is written & produced by Ryan Tedder (‘Bleeding Love’) and is co-written by Leona herself. The song, which is said to be another powerballad, has been getting rave reviews. So I am very curious what she will bring this time, I'm a fan of her ballads, don't like her uptempo songs that much.

The official tracklisting for Mariah Carey’s new album, ‘Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel’ was unveiled yesterday. WHITNEY VIDEO'S GET A RELEASE DATE

That Grape Juice got the official word from Whitney Houston’s team regarding the debut of her two new videos: ‘I Look To You’ (Sept 12th) and ‘Million Dollar Bill’ (Sept 16th). You can also expect a performance of ‘I Didn’t Know My Own Strength’ on The Oprah Winfrey Show next week. source:toyasworld.
I love her new album, it's great, it's too bad her vocals are not what it used to, but it's ok for now. I can't wait for the video's. I hope she releases ''I GOT YOU'' after these.

NEW MADONNA VIDEO

Madonna's new video for her upcoming single ''celebration'' from her Greatest Hits premiered today. Well... I don't like the song and certainly don't like the video... Come one what is she trying to sell? Her 50 year old pussy or her music? i have to say she looks good, very good job on the airbrushing... And people say she is still the Queen of pop? well I declareBritney Spears the new Queen of Pop and she is actually for a while.

LEONA'S NEW SINGLE GETS A RELEASE DATE

Leona's official website made a statemen regarding her new Single. here is what they had to say:

The rumours have been circulating all weekend and now we couldn’t be more pleased, glad or overjoyed to confirm the name of Leona’s new single…in fact we couldn’t be more HAPPY!
Yes, Happy is indeed the name of the first single to be released from Leona’s sophomore album ‘ECHO’.
The brand new track will be available to download from 8th November and the CD available on 9th November, a week before album release. However you can hear it much sooner as it gets its worldwide radio premiere exclusively on
The Radio 1 Chart Show this Sunday, 6th September!
Yeah finally some new Leona music, I was actually hoping for a ballad, but the title ''HAPPY'' sounds a little too uptempo for me, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

WHITNEY HOUSTON ON THE COVER OF EBONY

Legendary diva Whitney Houston graces the cover of Ebony’s October ‘09 issue, which is set to hit stores on Sept 8th. The singer’s new album ‘I Look To You’ was released yesterday (Aug 31st) and it doesn’t even have a music video. We should be seeing one for ‘Million Dollar Bill’ really soon. Whit-Whit reveals to the magazine that her faith in God is what helped her to pull through during testing times. She also emphasises how she stayed out of the public eye to spend time with her mother and raise her 16-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina (“I was just ready to lay back and raise my daughter and just watch her grow and nurture her. And my mother’s getting older. I wanted to spend more time with my mom [because during] most of my 20s and 30s, I was dealing with making records and traveling the world and being this thing, icon, you know - whatever this has turned into”). More importantly, she effectively used that time to battle her demons (drugs & deadbeat ex-hubby Bobby Brown)…Source:toyas-world. I'm so glad she got her shit together, I'm going to give her album a listen, I may write review for the first time, but I'm not sure. Stay tuned...
JAY-Z&ALICIA KEYS NEW SONG

Jay-Z's new album ''The Blueprint 3'' has fulled in leak and includes this song feat. Alicia Keys. The track is titled ''Empire State of Mind''. I usualy don't like Jay-Z, but this song is good, I think it's because of Alicia, she sounds great on this.

What do you think?

LEONA LEWIS: NEW SINGLE GOES TO RADIO MID-SEPTEMBER…

As previously confirmed, Leona Lewis will perform at the VH1 Divas Live concert on September 17th. The shows executive producer Rick Krim also shed some light on the premiere of her new single. He says: “We shot her last week while she was working on a record in the studio. She was a ‘You Oughtta Know’ artist for VH1 when she first came out. She’s an amazing vocalist, and her new song goes to radio a day or two after the show airs. They’re using ‘Divas’ and some other stuff to launch the single. And it’s an amazing song”. The singer’s forthcoming new album ‘Echo’ is tentatively scheduled for a Nov 17th release.
I'd say good luck to you Leona, you're in the Middle of the Mariah vs Whitney battle.
MARY J. BLIGE: ‘THE ONE (FEAT. DRAKE)’ [NEW MUSIC VIDEO]

The video from Mary's first single of her upcoming album premiered earlier this week, I'm sorry I wasn't able to update, cause I was very buissy. Anway check out this cool video, I really like it!

NEW WHITNEY HOUSTON SONG

As the official release of Whitney Houston's much anticipated new LP 'I Look To You' draws nearer, more songs leak into the internet and we all are glad about it(except for some fans who hate leaking) Anyway the new song which leaked is titled ''For The Lovers'' and is produced by my favourite producer Danja(Britney Spears' Blackout album, for those who haven't listened to that album, one title is enough to refresh your memory:GIMME MORE)
Listen to the song below, what do you think?

I like the beat, Danja ALMOST never fails to deliver great music. The Song actually sounds good, but I don't like Whitney's vocals on a club banger, it just doesnt suit her, I'd much rather hear this song sung by Britney Spears or Beyonce.
CHRIS BROWN BROKE THE RULES...

Just hours after he was sentenced for beating up ex-girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown reportedly broke the rules of his probation by partying it up at West Hollywood hotspot Guys and Dolls. Apparently, he was too young to be in a night club. Ok HOW stupid can you be, first you beat up your girlfriend, he should be lucky he avoided jail time, but breaking a rule hours after? Now he can fase jail time and I actually don't care about him anymore, I was glad at first he didnt get any jail time and hoped he could get his career back on track, but after this, I'd say: GOOD LUCK.

MARIO'S OFFICIAL ALBUM COVER

check out the official album cover for Mario's fourth studio album ''D.N.A'', which will hit stores on October 13th. the second single, shich is assisted by P.Diddy is titled: ''Thinkin'About You''.

I think the cover looks great, I really like it, I dont have much to say about this, except for the baldt look, I dont like that.
BEYONCE'S NEW AD FOR L'OREAL

Check out Beyonce looking hot on the new ad for Lóreal. I think she looks amazing, she hasn't looked good to me in a while and this is defenetly a good look for her.

MARIAH CAREY: I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS

Mariah's second single from her upcoming album ''Memoires of an imperfect Angel'' leaked today. It's a cover from The Foreigners. I'm not really fond of it, the song is ok, she delivers ok, but not a great song like ''For The Record'' or ''We Belong Together''.

BRITNEY'S 2009 VMA'S COMMERCIAL

YES, Finally we got something official about Britney and the VMA's this year. Yhose hot white biki shots were for the VMA's commercial. I somehow see this as a confirmation she will be attending the ceremony this year. Anyway chek out the video below, I have one word to describe this:GODNEY!

MARY J BLIGE VIDEO PREMIERE

Mary J. Blige premieres her new music video for ‘Stronger’. The track is the lead single from the soundtrack to the LeBron James’ documentary More Than a Game. The track will also feature on her new album of the same name. The soundtrack is scheduled to hit stores on Sept 22nd. Watch the clip below:

I LOVE THIS SONG. Wow I havent heard a great song like this in a while. The video is not that great, I love the Mary scenes, but the football scenes doent do it for me, anyway I LOVE THE SONG!
RIHANNA FT JAYZ AND KANYE WEST VIDEO PREMIERE

Rihanna, Kanye West and her mentor Jay Z go all rebellious in the Anthony Mandler-directed music video for ‘Run This Town’ off Jay-Z’s new album ‘The Blueprint 3′. The video aired last night on MTV Germany and was filmed at Fort Totten Park in New York City earlier this month. It also tributes 70’s cult ‘The Warriors’ and I’m also seeing some references to Mad Max Thunderdome as well. The song is currently at #3 on the Hot 100 so it’s doing fantastically well and Rihanna will be securing herself another accolade in the Record books once more. Watch the clip below:

The video is dark like Rihanna's Disturbia. I'm not realy fond of it, but it's ok. I like the warrior idea, the song is hot, but the video doesnt do anything for me.
MARIAH CAREY'S NEW FRAGRANCE AD

Following the success of her two previous signature scents, M by Mariah Carey and Luscious Pink, Mariah Carey is debuting a new fragrance this fall called ‘Forever’. The singer is set to premiere her sexy ads online exclusively to People. The opulent floral scent is said to contain notes of lotus blossom, tuberose, gardenia, exotic woods and white musk. Check out the ad below: Hmmm... Ok why is thish chick always airbrushed like this? Al her promo pic are airbrushed, she looks great i agree on that, but get rid of the airbrushing...
BRITNEY SPEARS NO THE DAVID LETTERMAN SHOW

Yesterday Britney Spears appeared on the David Letterman show. She was there to present the top 10 list. This time the top 10 list was How the country would look like, if Britney Spears were president... I cant imagine how the country would be like, but fun to see her top 10 list. It made me laugh out loud, especially the NUMBER ONE. Check out the video below.

It's a shame it's pre-recorded, i wish she was there in real and to appear in a biki for the top 10? a bit too weird for me, but anyway, I STAY I LOVE WITH THIS GODDES, LOOK AT THAT BODY!
NEW WHITNEY HOUSTON SONG:SALUTE

Previously, the demo for Whitney Houston’s ‘Salute’ leaked online, but today the real version made it's way to internet. The song is written by singer R. Kelly who wrote two songs for Whitney’s new album ‘I Look to You’ (in stores Aug 31st). The song is produced by Tricky Stewart. Listen to the song below:

I like the song, but I dont hear her singing that much, i hear more backround singers then mMiss. Houston herself.
R-Kelly ft Keri Hilson ''Number One'' video premiere

R-Kelly and Keri Hilson premiered their new video for the single ''Number One''. Check out the song below:

I really LOVE the song, I havent watched the video yet, any thoughts?
CHRISTINA AQUILERA NEW ALBUM INFO...

Christina Aquilera talked through her radio show about her album a week ago. I know I am late with this, but here it comes. she reveals to be working with lots of artist on this one. read what she had to say

''Christina Aguilera has confirmed some of music’s coolest artists will feature on her next album.

Santigold (formerly Santogold), M.I.A, Lady Tron, Goldfrapp and singer Sia will all appear on the star’s next disc.

In an interview with A.P.E Radio she said: “I think I'm most proud of this work than I've ever been, just because I worked with so many amazing and incredibly talented people.”

The Neptunes and Major Lazer are also rumoured to be contributing beats to the album.

Christina continued: “I really like to step outside of my own box. The result was just crazy magic. There truly is something for everyone to enjoy on the record. Lots of good stuff in store!''

Well glad to hear she is working again, hopefully she comes bakc hard, cause i dont like Beyonce being the only competition for Britney Spears who is the goddes at the moment with her music and your. BTW Christina, DELIVER THIS TIME SOMETHING LIKE STRIPPED, that album is the album of your career IMO.
MARIAH'S FIRST OFFICIAL SINGLE

Showbiz 411 colunmist Roger Friedman has been quite consistent with dishing the goods on Mariah Carey’s forthcoming project ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’. The colunmist has even shed further light on Mariah’s official “first” single which is entitled ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’. The track is a power ballad which was originally recorded by the British-American rock band Foreigner. However, Mariah is said to be serving up a “gospel-tinged version” of the Mick Jones-penned song. New song titles have also been introduced to us such as ‘Up Out My Face’, ‘More than Just Friends‘ and ‘Angels Cry’. Those, alongside the previously confirmed tracks such as ‘Betcha’, ‘Obsessed’, ‘H.A.T.E.U’, ‘Candy Bling’, ‘Ribbon’, ‘Standing O’s’, ‘Impossible’, ‘It’s a Wrap’ and ‘Inseparable’. The running order is still being finalized but Friedman says that although the project is a one hour ballad-fest, it will still serve as something towards “what the kids want”.
Ok, I defenetly see OBSESSED as the first lead single, I think they are trying to do what they did to Ciara's ''official girl'' single, after it flopped, they said it wasn't the first single...well anyway I think Angels Cry is going to be my favourite, i like that title, hopefully my ''VERY GOOD FRIEND'' Maurice won't steal that song from me and rape it...
I really can't wait till this albums drops, in the mean time make sure you vote on the poll for the VMA'S.
Kristinia Debarge releases new video

Kristinia Debarge premieres her music video for second single ‘Sabotage’. The track is the follow-up to her hit single ‘Goodbye’ and is taken from her recently released debut album ‘Exposed’. Watch below:

I kinda like the song, but as for the video, not my thing. Kristinia Debarge is the opening act of Britney's Circus tour in North America, hopefully she will be able to entertain till Britney comes up.
BROOKE HOGHANS DISSES BEYONCE

Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke was recently interviewed on Sirius radio and during the segment the “Brooke Knows Best” star commented on Beyonce, Heidi Montag and R&B singer Cassie. Regarding Beyonce, Brooke said: “I’ll agree with Keri Hilson though. She (Beyonce) needs to go sit down, make some babies and chill. You know, she’s talented, don’t get me wrong, but just give it a break a little”. Well, I kinda agree with Brooke, btw dont you all think she looks like a tranny with a flop album? Anyway, i dont like Brooke or her shitty music, but I have to agree with her on this one, I think Beyonce is afraid to be forgotten of she takes a break...
NEW BRITNEY CONCERT VIDEO+ NEW RUMOURED TOUR DATES...

NEW BEYONCE SONG

A brand new Beyonce song from the recording sessions of her latest ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’ project has surfaced. The song is entitled ‘Poison’ and it did not make the final cut for some reason. Listen to it below:

This is the first UP-tempo song from the ''I am...'' era I like. It really is a good song, I dont get it, why isnt this on the album, I hate all the uptempo songs on her album and she doesnt add this to it?
BRITNEY SPEARS AT THE 2009 TEEN COICE AWARDS

Ok I know I am a little bit too late with this post, but I was waiting to make sure I get the latest HQ pics and video of the show. Anyway Britney Spears attented the 2009 Teen Choice Awards this sunday. The Legend was giving the highest award: The Ultimate Choice Award. She was introduced by Miley Cyrus and I'm so glad someone FINALLY said on tv that Britney Spears is the beste selling female artist of the decade and has THE HIGHST GROSSING TOUR of 2009. By the sound of the audience, we all know one thing for sure: Britney is already a Legend.

BTW SHE LOOKED AWESOME!

MARIO PERFORMING HIS LATEST SINGLE

Mario started with his promo for forthcoming new album ‘D.N.A’, which will drop in stores on Sept 29th. The singer performed his latest new single ‘Break Up’ on BET’s ‘106 & Park’ yesterday (August 10th). check out the performance below:

He lip synced the song, but I don't really care about that, i mean who doesnt lip sync these days? All the performences are or lip synced or pre recorded or parts live, anyway, I like the song, about the performance... it was ok.
MARIA CAREY & WHITNEY HOUSTON COVERS

Well Maria's cover for her new album ''Memoires of an Imperfect Angel'' and Whitney's cover of her new single ''Million Dollar Bill'' are quit similair, I dont believe in coincidence, I believe in faith, but that doesnt have anything to do with their covers, LOL. What do you guys think?
JANET JACKSON NOT PERFORMING AT MOBO AWARDS...

MOBO Publicists are now DENYING that Janet Jackson will be performing a tribute to her late brother Michael Jackson at this years MOBO Awards. Here’s the official statement they issued earlier today: “Following recent reports in the press, MOBO would like to clarify that we have never confirmed that Janet Jackson has been invited or will be attending/performing at this year’s MOBO Awards, in Glasgow on September 30th”. This is Teen Choice Awards all over again, like they confirmed Britney performing at the show, by denying her performance afterwards, but with Janet's story, she wont even attend.
Well I was looking forward to it, since the tribute is for her brother, but it was too good to be true. I'm waiting for her new album, can't wait.
BRITNEY SPEARS PERFORMING ON TEEN CHOICE AWARDS

OH MY GOD, Britney Spears is confirmed as one of the performers at the upcoming Teen Choice Awards. WOW this is huge, we havent seen britney doing any promotion then her little to less promo tour in December, so this is HUGE. Rumor has it that she will perform her new song ''DIRTY GIRL'' by the title I think it woul be something amazing and hot like SLAVE FOR YOU. Britney is nominated for three awards at this years ceremony. The awards show are held on Monday, 10th of August.

So what do YOU think?

UPDATE: BRITNEY IS SET TO RECEIVE THE ULTIMATE CHOICE AWARD ON MONDAY(it's the biggest awards they have to honor an artist)

WHITNEY HOUSTON: MILLION DOLLAR BILL PREVIEW

Ok a snippet of Whitney Houston's next single ''Million Dollar Bill'' made it's way to the internet. the track which is written and produced by Alicia keys and Swizz Beatz will officialy premiere tomorrow( 07-08-09). Listen to the song below:

It sounds very like Alicia Keys and we all know I think that woman is boring as hell, so this song doesnt work for me unfortunetly. I think ''I Look To You'' sounds way better. Good Luck Miss Houston. I'll give my full judgement when I hear the full song.
MARIAH CAREY PERFORM OBSESSED

Maria Carey performed her hit single ''Obsessed'' for the first time on television. She took the stage on ''Amerca's got talent'' which is hosted by her husban Nick Cannon. Check out the performance below:

Ok I'm sorry to say this, but she sucked. Mariah where did you voice go? Anothet thing is, I know Maria can't dance, but come walking a bit and not doing any move? Come on girl, some notes soundes great at the end, but overall, I'd give the performance a 1 out of 5 stars.
VMA NOMINATIONS ARE IN...

yes this year VMA nomination has been announced and we can tell you htat it's a tie between Lady GaGa and Beyonce. Britney Spears has been nominated for 7 awards this year, last yeas she was the big winner of the night with three moonmen, but the most surprising thing about this years nominations is: Britney is NOT up for Best Female. weird, but the funny thing is, she is probably gonna winn VIDEO OF THE YEAR and BEST POP VIDEO, cause fans are allowed to vote. Lady Gaga deserves her nominations, she has worked hard on jacking almost every musician in the music industry, so I think she'll probably win BESTE NEWCOMER as for Beyonce, I think ''Single Ladies'' getting 9 noms is too much, If I Were a Boy is a much better video so i hope she'll win beste Female.

CIARA GOT BORED

haha yes, Ciara was bored in LA, cause the girl had nothing to do. With her album flopping really hard, she tried to do domething nice for her fans. Check out the video of Ciara singin to Estelle's smash hit ''American Boy''.

Well i personally don't like Estelle, bit Ciara did a GREAAT JOOOOOB on the song, btw I think this is the hottest R&B chick out there. Unfortonetly, her music isn't.
MARIAH CAREY'S LISTENING PARTY

Earlier today IDJ Chairman L.A. Reid hosted a mini listening party for Mariah’s new album “Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel” in New York. Known people who attended the event were The-Dream and his fiance Christina Milian. Also there was an affiliate for Essence magazine who tweeted throughout the event.

In other news, Maria's is set to perform at the 2009 MTV video Music Awards. The show airs live on September 13th at New York's Radio City Music Hall. More performers are to be announced in the coming weeks. Let's hope Britney Spears will attend, cause the show is dead without her.

Here are a few of here tweets during the session:
“Getting another early listen at Mariah Carey’s new album with LA Reid”.

“The Dream, Tricky and Mariah wrote everything on the album…nice.”.

“first four Mariah songs sound like hits to us… loving “H.A.T.E.U.”".

“Okay, Mariah’s so long song “Standing Ovation” sounds very Ne-Yoish”.

“The Dream is feeling “Ribbon”…”.

“OMG… Mariah does Journey’s “I Wanna Know What Li… oops… “i wanna know what love is” and it sounds AMAZING”.

“Naz just corrected me, that’s Foreigner’s song but Mariah put her foot it in “.

I dont really care about the tweets, it sounds good, but I have to hear the songs for myself. I expect something huge from her, cause her last two albums were great for me(personal memories)
WHITNEY HOUSTON PUSHES UP HER ALBUM RELEASE DAT

Whitney Houston’s label has moved the release date of her new album ‘I Look To You’ forward by one day, making her eligible for Grammy selection. The Grammy cut-off date is August 31st (Whitney’s new release date). As a gift to her fans, a free download of the album’s title track, powered by Yahoo! Music, is also available now at Whitney’s official site until July 31st. Her new single ‘Million Dollar Bill’ (produced and penned by Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys) is expected to premiere any day now.
Well this is something her Rival Mariah Carey couldn't do. She wanted to push her album forward as well, but her album was simply not ready, so she won't make any chance at this years Grammy's.
I LOOK TO YOU WORLD PREMIERE

Well i was talking about the song, not the whole album. Whitney's new song ''I Look To You'' premiered on radio yesterday. The Lead Single will be ''Million Dollar Bill'' but as i read today, there is a possibility that this might become the lead single of her new album. anyway give it a listen below and tell me what you think:

I never liked Whitney before, except for some songs, but this one is great, I really love the melody and the lyrics. One thing i noticed is that she really brings the words to you when she sings, it has a great emotional feeling. Well Done Whitney!
WHITNEY HOUSTON ALBUM PREVIEW

Alecia Keys who penned the lead single ''Million Dollar Bill'' from Whitney's upcoming album, poses with the DIVA herself at the listening of her album in New York city Yesterday. Clay Cane attented the show and this is what he had to say: Last night, the legendary Clive Davis hosted a listening session for Whitney Houston’s new album I Look To You, which is in stores September 1st. Held at Jazz @ Lincoln Center in New York City, the event was packed with stars like Martha Stewart, Gayle King, Dionne Warrick, Alicia Keys (in the house with Swizz Beats!) LA Reid, Andre Harrell, Diane Sawyer, BET’s own Debra Lee and Stephen Hill – and the iconic Whitney Houston, who was absolutely stunning. She looked happy, grateful and beautiful. When Whitney hit the stage for a small speech the person next to me said,”That’s m*thaf**kin’ Whitney Houston!“ The diva received a standing ovation from a crowd (and the world!) who has been waiting for the return of the original pop-soul diva.

I was lucky enough to attend and here is a preview of the seven new tracks that were played (two leaked tracks were played, “Like I Never Left” featuring Akon and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster). I wasn’t able to catch every producer’s name or the exact lyrics so the credits are subject to change. Note: Clive Davis did stress the songs were still being polished.

1. “Million Dollar Bill” (written and produced by Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats)

An up-tempo, joyful track about love and probably one of the funkiest songs Whitney has ever done. “Million Dollar Bill” has an amazing bass line and almost recalls early Michael Jackson in Off The Wall. The catchy hook, “You make me feel like a million dollar bill.” Her vocal is strong with some power notes toward the end. The song has an Alicia Keys sound but fits for Whit — it’s current without making her seem like she is trying to compete with teenagers. The song received a standing ovation.

2. “Nothin’ But Love” (produced by Danja)

Whitney’s shout out to those who her love her and those who hate on her, she’s got “Nothin’ But Love” for all of them. Completely up-tempo and definitely an R&B club track that has the potential of sounding even hotter with a remix. The vocal stays around her lower register and, again, holds some classic Nippy notes at the end.

3. “Call You Tonight” (produced by Stargate)

Fun, mature and a song everyone can relate to. Heavily produced and while it can be tough to adjust to a pure vocalist like Whitney sing to a production heavy song, the mid-tempo track works for this album. “Call You Tonight” sounds like one of the better tracks from Just Whitney. Some lyrics include, “Destiny, I believe in it” and “I wish I could stay but I got to go, I’ll call you tonight.”

4. “Salute” (written and produced by R. Kelly)

Whitney is saying goodbye to a lover who has done her wrong, but she is letting go with no anger and confidently sings, “I salute you.” Could she be channeling Bobby Brown? The song is strictly R&B and almost sounds similar to “Heartbreak Hotel” from the My Love Is Your Love album. More instruments than production with keys and a strong vocal from Whitney. One line, “You think you know everything, you think your sh*t don’t stink.”

5. “I Look To You” - R. Kelly

Say what you want about R. Kelly but the man can still make a good R&B song. “I Look To You” is the title track and my favorite song so far. Beautiful lyrics like, “As I lay me down, heaven hear me now.” Her voice is deeply powerful, channeling classic Whitney with a pop sense but an R&B vocal. This song proves that she has not lost her voice and it’s definitely a melody I cannot wait to hear live. Whitney clearly feels every line and chord, charging through the ballad, transcending her own experience and reaching others who have been through adversity. Whitney has been criticized for not being emotional enough in her music — this track knocks out that complaint. From where I could see, Bobbi Kristina, Whitney’s daughter, was getting emotional during the song.

also here is a 30 sec previeuw of this song

6. “Worth It” (R. Kelly)

“This song is for the lovers…” is one of the lines. Youthful and radio friendly, another R&B track. Nothing much to add about this one, enjoyable to listen to and had folks in the audience bobbing their head — I think I even saw a few head nods from Martha Stewart!

7. “A Song For You” (produced by Stargate)

Popularized by Donny Hathaway, “A Song For You” is a new spin on the Leon Russell classic. The beginning starts slow and the crowd gasped when they realized what song she was singing. Whitney sounded incredible, nearly haunting and before you knew it the song turns into a club banger! Mr. Davis explained the song was recorded just the night before. Definitely one for those who loves Whitney’s club tracks.

Overall, the nine tracks that were played received a good response. The album definitely has the potential to be a hit. For Whitney, there is no such thing as a “comeback” — icons “don’t call it a comeback” then just jump back in the game whenever they are ready. One thing I do know is no one should expect 1985 Whitney. Artists evolve and it’s limiting when we trap performers in a particular box or era. The best piece about the tracks is that Whit has some grit to her voice, her vocals are still strong but she doesn’t mind getting a bit nasty with it. While the album isn’t finished, I believe folks will be pleasantly surprised.

PS. Clive Davis is 77 years-old and stood on that stage for nearly an hour, introducing Whitney, telling stories, making jokes and setting up each song! This is a man from the old school and knows how to work a project! Gotta give respect to Professor Davis!

OMG, THIS ALL SOUND SO FUCKING GREAT, I JUST CAN'T WAIT TILL THIS ALBUMS DROPS, CAUSE ALMOST ALL R-KELLY SONGS ARE GOOD AND DANJA(MY FAVOURITE MUSIC PRODUCER) IS PRODUCING FOR WHITNEY. DANJA IS THE MASTER PRODUCER BEHIND BRITNEY'S MASTERPIECE BLACKOUT.
A MUST SE EPERFORMANCE, LIL KIM FT CYNDI LAUPER

Cyndi Lauper and Lil Kim took the stage together this past Saturday at the Mandela Day concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The two ''singers'' performed a medley of Lauper's hit 'Time After Time' and Kim's 'Lighters Up'. Check out the performance below and tell me that you think.

OOOH MYYY GOOOOD, WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING? I'M SURE MANDELA JUST WANTED TO DIE AT HIS BIRTHDAY AFTER HEARING THIS!
