CIARA GOT BORED

haha yes, Ciara was bored in LA, cause the girl had nothing to do. With her album flopping really hard, she tried to do domething nice for her fans. Check out the video of Ciara singin to Estelle's smash hit ''American Boy''.

Well i personally don't like Estelle, bit Ciara did a GREAAT JOOOOOB on the song, btw I think this is the hottest R&B chick out there. Unfortonetly, her music isn't.
MARIAH CAREY'S LISTENING PARTY

Earlier today IDJ Chairman L.A. Reid hosted a mini listening party for Mariah’s new album “Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel” in New York. Known people who attended the event were The-Dream and his fiance Christina Milian. Also there was an affiliate for Essence magazine who tweeted throughout the event.

In other news, Maria's is set to perform at the 2009 MTV video Music Awards. The show airs live on September 13th at New York's Radio City Music Hall. More performers are to be announced in the coming weeks. Let's hope Britney Spears will attend, cause the show is dead without her.

Here are a few of here tweets during the session:
“Getting another early listen at Mariah Carey’s new album with LA Reid”.

“The Dream, Tricky and Mariah wrote everything on the album…nice.”.

“first four Mariah songs sound like hits to us… loving “H.A.T.E.U.”".

“Okay, Mariah’s so long song “Standing Ovation” sounds very Ne-Yoish”.

“The Dream is feeling “Ribbon”…”.

“OMG… Mariah does Journey’s “I Wanna Know What Li… oops… “i wanna know what love is” and it sounds AMAZING”.

“Naz just corrected me, that’s Foreigner’s song but Mariah put her foot it in “.

I dont really care about the tweets, it sounds good, but I have to hear the songs for myself. I expect something huge from her, cause her last two albums were great for me(personal memories)
WHITNEY HOUSTON PUSHES UP HER ALBUM RELEASE DAT

Whitney Houston’s label has moved the release date of her new album ‘I Look To You’ forward by one day, making her eligible for Grammy selection. The Grammy cut-off date is August 31st (Whitney’s new release date). As a gift to her fans, a free download of the album’s title track, powered by Yahoo! Music, is also available now at Whitney’s official site until July 31st. Her new single ‘Million Dollar Bill’ (produced and penned by Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys) is expected to premiere any day now.
Well this is something her Rival Mariah Carey couldn't do. She wanted to push her album forward as well, but her album was simply not ready, so she won't make any chance at this years Grammy's.
I LOOK TO YOU WORLD PREMIERE

Well i was talking about the song, not the whole album. Whitney's new song ''I Look To You'' premiered on radio yesterday. The Lead Single will be ''Million Dollar Bill'' but as i read today, there is a possibility that this might become the lead single of her new album. anyway give it a listen below and tell me what you think:

I never liked Whitney before, except for some songs, but this one is great, I really love the melody and the lyrics. One thing i noticed is that she really brings the words to you when she sings, it has a great emotional feeling. Well Done Whitney!
WHITNEY HOUSTON ALBUM PREVIEW

Alecia Keys who penned the lead single ''Million Dollar Bill'' from Whitney's upcoming album, poses with the DIVA herself at the listening of her album in New York city Yesterday. Clay Cane attented the show and this is what he had to say: Last night, the legendary Clive Davis hosted a listening session for Whitney Houston’s new album I Look To You, which is in stores September 1st. Held at Jazz @ Lincoln Center in New York City, the event was packed with stars like Martha Stewart, Gayle King, Dionne Warrick, Alicia Keys (in the house with Swizz Beats!) LA Reid, Andre Harrell, Diane Sawyer, BET’s own Debra Lee and Stephen Hill – and the iconic Whitney Houston, who was absolutely stunning. She looked happy, grateful and beautiful. When Whitney hit the stage for a small speech the person next to me said,”That’s m*thaf**kin’ Whitney Houston!“ The diva received a standing ovation from a crowd (and the world!) who has been waiting for the return of the original pop-soul diva.

I was lucky enough to attend and here is a preview of the seven new tracks that were played (two leaked tracks were played, “Like I Never Left” featuring Akon and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster). I wasn’t able to catch every producer’s name or the exact lyrics so the credits are subject to change. Note: Clive Davis did stress the songs were still being polished.

1. “Million Dollar Bill” (written and produced by Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats)

An up-tempo, joyful track about love and probably one of the funkiest songs Whitney has ever done. “Million Dollar Bill” has an amazing bass line and almost recalls early Michael Jackson in Off The Wall. The catchy hook, “You make me feel like a million dollar bill.” Her vocal is strong with some power notes toward the end. The song has an Alicia Keys sound but fits for Whit — it’s current without making her seem like she is trying to compete with teenagers. The song received a standing ovation.

2. “Nothin’ But Love” (produced by Danja)

Whitney’s shout out to those who her love her and those who hate on her, she’s got “Nothin’ But Love” for all of them. Completely up-tempo and definitely an R&B club track that has the potential of sounding even hotter with a remix. The vocal stays around her lower register and, again, holds some classic Nippy notes at the end.

3. “Call You Tonight” (produced by Stargate)

Fun, mature and a song everyone can relate to. Heavily produced and while it can be tough to adjust to a pure vocalist like Whitney sing to a production heavy song, the mid-tempo track works for this album. “Call You Tonight” sounds like one of the better tracks from Just Whitney. Some lyrics include, “Destiny, I believe in it” and “I wish I could stay but I got to go, I’ll call you tonight.”

4. “Salute” (written and produced by R. Kelly)

Whitney is saying goodbye to a lover who has done her wrong, but she is letting go with no anger and confidently sings, “I salute you.” Could she be channeling Bobby Brown? The song is strictly R&B and almost sounds similar to “Heartbreak Hotel” from the My Love Is Your Love album. More instruments than production with keys and a strong vocal from Whitney. One line, “You think you know everything, you think your sh*t don’t stink.”

5. “I Look To You” - R. Kelly

Say what you want about R. Kelly but the man can still make a good R&B song. “I Look To You” is the title track and my favorite song so far. Beautiful lyrics like, “As I lay me down, heaven hear me now.” Her voice is deeply powerful, channeling classic Whitney with a pop sense but an R&B vocal. This song proves that she has not lost her voice and it’s definitely a melody I cannot wait to hear live. Whitney clearly feels every line and chord, charging through the ballad, transcending her own experience and reaching others who have been through adversity. Whitney has been criticized for not being emotional enough in her music — this track knocks out that complaint. From where I could see, Bobbi Kristina, Whitney’s daughter, was getting emotional during the song.

also here is a 30 sec previeuw of this song

6. “Worth It” (R. Kelly)

“This song is for the lovers…” is one of the lines. Youthful and radio friendly, another R&B track. Nothing much to add about this one, enjoyable to listen to and had folks in the audience bobbing their head — I think I even saw a few head nods from Martha Stewart!

7. “A Song For You” (produced by Stargate)

Popularized by Donny Hathaway, “A Song For You” is a new spin on the Leon Russell classic. The beginning starts slow and the crowd gasped when they realized what song she was singing. Whitney sounded incredible, nearly haunting and before you knew it the song turns into a club banger! Mr. Davis explained the song was recorded just the night before. Definitely one for those who loves Whitney’s club tracks.

Overall, the nine tracks that were played received a good response. The album definitely has the potential to be a hit. For Whitney, there is no such thing as a “comeback” — icons “don’t call it a comeback” then just jump back in the game whenever they are ready. One thing I do know is no one should expect 1985 Whitney. Artists evolve and it’s limiting when we trap performers in a particular box or era. The best piece about the tracks is that Whit has some grit to her voice, her vocals are still strong but she doesn’t mind getting a bit nasty with it. While the album isn’t finished, I believe folks will be pleasantly surprised.

PS. Clive Davis is 77 years-old and stood on that stage for nearly an hour, introducing Whitney, telling stories, making jokes and setting up each song! This is a man from the old school and knows how to work a project! Gotta give respect to Professor Davis!

OMG, THIS ALL SOUND SO FUCKING GREAT, I JUST CAN'T WAIT TILL THIS ALBUMS DROPS, CAUSE ALMOST ALL R-KELLY SONGS ARE GOOD AND DANJA(MY FAVOURITE MUSIC PRODUCER) IS PRODUCING FOR WHITNEY. DANJA IS THE MASTER PRODUCER BEHIND BRITNEY'S MASTERPIECE BLACKOUT.
A MUST SE EPERFORMANCE, LIL KIM FT CYNDI LAUPER

I like the beginning of the song. The song itself is ok, hopefully Mariah can deliver the song way better than The Dream just did. 'Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel' hits stores August 25th.

WHITNEY HOUSTON ALBUM COVER+NEWS

Last night, Whitney Houston had an exclusive listening party for her comeback album ‘I Look To You’. The party went down at the Mandarian Oriental Hotel in London’s Knightsbridge. Some celebrities in the crowd included billionaire Sir Philip Green who all rose to rapturous applause as she unveiled the project. Whit’s mentor Clive Davis was also in tow. Davis has been mentoring the legendary diva for the past 25 years now. Whitney also confirmed that the very uptempo ‘Mill Dolla Bill’ is going to be the lead single and NOT ‘I Didn’t Know My Own Strength’ which leaked online a few weeks ago. It turns out that the Diane Warren-written/David Foster-produced ballad was just a buzz track to build up some hype around the project. As for Whitney’s new single ‘Mill Dollar Bill’, the song will officially premiere on July 28th. As I reported to you a few weeks ago, the song is written by R&B songstress Alicia Keys and penned by Alicia’s new fella Swizz Beatz. Here is the official cover art for Whitney’s forthcoming new album ‘I Look To You’, which will drop in stores on Sept 1st: SOURCE:TOYAS-WORLD.NET

I LOVE this album cover, it's so classy, it's a bit simple. but simple things are sometimes the best and this proves that. She looks great on the Cover, BRING IT ON MISS HOUSTON!
BRITNEY SPEARS CIRCUS TOUR REVIEW

OK, sorry I know I was hyping it a lot lately, but I just came back home from Antwerp, so I had no time to post my review of the show, but here I am.

I went with a friend who HATES Britney and always said: SHE IS A TALENTLESS ATTENTIONSHORE. anyway as I made my way to Belgium I was singing MANNEQUIN the whole day in the train and on the streets and when people looked at me I didn’t really care and went on: I DON’T CARE I DON’T CARE I DON’T CARE I DON’T CARE, YOU CAN CRY CRY CRY AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN MY FACE LIKE A MANNEQUIN!

So it was my first time to see Britney Spears in real life and my first big concert. As I entered I saw the whole arena and the stage, I just went crazy, but the stage looked way smaller then the youtube video's and my view was great for the price I paid(89 euro) but unfortunately on my camera it looked way further so my pictures kinda suck.

The crowd was crazy, first I though the Belgium fans would’t be that great and the arena looked kinda empty first. When the first act came (DJ Havana Brown) the lights went down, after 25 minutes she went away and the arena was full. I was so glad I wasn’t at a concert with empty seats. They gave us a countdown what said: THE CIRCUS WILL BEGIN IN… I have pictures of it. I am not gonna talk about the big apple act, just that it was great!
Before the perez video began people just went crazy I the tribune was just shaking of all those people jumping. As I watched the show and saw Britney came down the first thing I noticed was her hair, I loved it, she was sexy as hell and she looked amazing, those video's don’t do her justice! I’m not the kind who screams their long out and cries or faints, but I did scream this time!
seriously the show was just amazing, every song went so fast and you didn’t know where to look cause there was so many things happening at the same time. Know on YouTube it looks like she isn’t dancing except for small parts and is walking more, but in real life, she dances her ass off. She didn’t stop for a seconded, ok sometimes, but most of the time she was dancing and I loved to see her shaking that ass. The first song was amazing my hand started to shake when I saw her, she looked so amazing and just the sound the spectacle everything was right.

The choreography was great. I know I said before SHE NEEDS TO DANCE but as I saw the show, I barely saw her just standing, she was dancing more then you can see on YouTube. The parts she walked was just to get to another point of the stage so that everyone could see her. I do agree the choreography isn’t as crazy as in her earlier years, but that didn’t matter, it still was great.
The costumes were hot, especially those bra’s and short pants, her body was amazing, you couldn’t even see that this woman has been though a harsh divorce, had two babies and a terrible public breakdown. She was definitely back and looked better than ever.

The songs went by very hard, everything happened so fast, we didn’t even had to wait during her costume changes cause great things happened on stage. Dancers were hot, the Circus, acrobats, everything was just great. I know you’d probably think there wasn’t anything bad about the show, but there was.

As for the singing live parts, I could hear her voice coming out, I know parts of the show were live and so were parts of Everytime, just want to make that clear as everyone bashes her for not signing live. She does sing some parts live, but I actually don’t care if she is singing live or not except for the ballads(those songs need to be live in full), cause the show was just amazing.and I was thinking, is it possible she may be good at singing and dancing live nowadays? I mean she did went to a vocal coach, but I don’t know. The other thing that kinda sucked was the interaction with the audience, she didn’t talk too much. In her previous tours she talked after the first song, then came back talking before a ballad and introduced the band, but she didn’t talk this time. Just before Everytime she shouted out: ’’WHAT’S UP BELGIUM?’’ he wanted to talk again, but there was something wrong with the mic making a horrible sound for a sec and she said: IM SORRY, SORRY ABOU THAT, HOW YALL FEELING’’ and then went on with the usual think she says at any show. The encore is the last thing that sucked big time. It was just too boring for an encore. Nothing happened, she barely danced, but the fireworks were great.

So I got one conclusion, people who say the circus tour sucks by judging the YouTube videos, you have to experience it in real life, cause it was just almost PERFECT. I loved it, yout can’t judge by those video’s.OH THE CHOREOGRAPHY LOOKS WAY BETTER IN REAL, SHE DANCED AND I LOVED IT, btw my friend loves her now as well, by saying: You have to experience this for real, those video’s sucked and no one puts on a show like this, I wasn’t bored for a second, she was amazing, looked amazing, sang amazing and dances amazing.

NEW MUSIC BY JORDIN SPARKS

American idol, Jordin Sparks is set to release her new album titled ''Battlefield'' on july 20th, but a new song titled ''Walking On Snow'' leaked earlier today. Listen to the song below:

I gave it a first listen and I fell in love with this song. I's a good POP song, very save, but a good song. What do you think?
NEW MUSIC FROM CHRIS BROWN

A new song from Chris Brown leaked earlier yesterday. I didnt have anytime to post them, so here they come. The first one is probably a song from his new album ''Grafitti''. The ''Shine For Me'' titeled song is a production by Dre&Vidal.

The song sounds good, the beat it ok, but as soon as I heard his voice i realised I got a bit annoyed. His voice is always the same, he doesnt play with it, maybe he want to keep it save, but he needs to change his game.
MORE SONGS FROM LEONA LEWIS

Another song from Leona Lewis leaked yesterday. The reason i didn't post it yesterday is because I wasn't sure if it was official and new, so here is the song ''Brave''.

I really like this song, I think we can expect something good from her this time around.
SUGABABES: FIRST SINGLE SNIPPET

A new snipper form The Sugababes first single of their new album made it's way to te internet. Listen to the song below:

To be honest I dont like this song. Their las album was just shit, I did like change, but anyway, I hope they got better songs on their album.
NEW SINGLE FROM WHITNEY HOUSTON

well this would've been the most interesting post of the day. Whitney's much hyped comeback is happening as her lead single from het new album ''I Look To You'' got released. Listen to the new single ''I Didn't Know My Own Strength'' below

Ok i dont like to admit this, but I think she is disapponting a lot of fans. When i heard about her making her way back to the music scene, i though she would come with a great song like ''I Will Always Love You'' but instead, she comes with this weak single. I like the lyrics, but the song is VERY BORING, no feelings, no passion and the most afwull thing to admis is the she no longer has the voice, but I can still image ONE person who will like this.
MICHAEL JACKSON REHEARSAL VIDEO

exactly one weke ago we lost Pop music's greatest entertainer/singer. There is a videp leaked into the net which shows Michael Jackson rehearsing for his tour, well unfortunetly it will never happen. Check out the video below:

I have only one thing to say: LONG LIVE THE KING!
WHITNEY HOUSTON ANNOUCES MINI CONCERT

Whitney Houston officially announced her first mini concert in September. The legendary singer made the announcement this morning on Good Morning America, that's where the concert will take place as well. This is her first televised concert in years to promote her new album ‘I Look To You’. The lead single is called ‘I Didn’t Know My Strength’. The song is said to be a big powerballad penned by the legendary songwriter Diane Warren and produced by famed hitmaker David Foster. Check out the official announcement below:

Yeah baby, I just can't wait, I don't if it's the anticipation to know if she still has the voice or to see if she defeats Britney Spears who made the biggest comeback in music history last year or just to see if she can beat Mariah by album sales. Let's just hope she still has it.
NEW MARIO&BRANDY MUSIC

A new song called ''Boom In It'', by Mario ft Brandy, made it's way to the internet. The track is coming from mario's new album called '' And Then There Was Me'' and is produced by The Dream. Check out the song below

Uhm, well I'm not really liking it. I like Brandy and Mario's music, but this song just doesn't work for me, maybe it will grow on me.
BRITNEY SPEARS RADAR VIDEO

Finally Britney's new video for ''Radar'' has arrived. The video was supposed to be released on July 6th, but it already leaked on my mothers birthday haha (Happy Birthday mom) BTW, I think she will love it, she is singing this song all day long, anyway, check out the video below and tell me what you think:

I love the video, she looks HOOOOOOOOOT, the concept is great I think a lot of people didn't expect this. She is doing a great job as she did for ''If YOu Seek Amy'' And I'm glad she is not like the rest of those artist and doesnt give a damn about the recession, she is doing great expensive video's with great concepts, n ot like Beyonce's video's at least. She also has the greatest and best selling tour of the year, proud of you B.
MICHAEL JACKSON REHEARSAL PICTURES

Sorry I am a bit in a hurry and I know lately there has been a lack of updates, but I'll do my thing soon again. Here are some pictures that leaked from Michael Jackson rehearsals for his ''This is It'' tour. I think the picture slook great, too bad the tour never got to see the light, but Michael did, hope he restst in peace now. Photo credit: Kevin Mazur/AEG/WireImage.com

MARIAH CAREY'S OFFICIAL ALBUM COVER

Check out the official album cover for Mariah's album ''Memoires of an Imperfect Angel''

Also are here some pics from the set of Maria's next video ''Obsessed'' I like the idea of brining Eminem down, especially after what he did to Britney Spears and Michael jackson.
